This year, Automattic's Queeromattic ERG will offer one scholarship to attend a WordCamp flagship event (e.g. WordCamp US, WordCamp Europe, or WordCamp Asia). The Queeromattic ERG mission is to empower the LGBTQ+ community at Automattic and beyond through providing resources, opportunities, and sponsorship.

This scholarship is for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+, with financial need, who has never attended a WordCamp flagship event. The scholarship will cover travel to the event's location from the recipient's home city, hotel stay for the duration of the event, and a ticket to a WordCamp flagship event in 2020. It will not cover transportation to and from the airport, meals, or other additional travel expenses.
